*** In general terms, shaping is when your download speed is throttled back, or ‘shaped’ to a certain speed. Blackstump Solutions offer shaping as opposed to excess data charges as a means of customer protection. Instead of applying charges after you exceed your pre paid data allowance the connection will simply slow down. This allows you to have a hassle free internet connection for a fixed monthly cost. Speed is reduced to 72kbps once the monthly allowance is reached. Speed can be resumed if requested. Additional data is then charged at $100 per Gigabyte.
^ The term "Unlimited" refers only to data capacity — not speeds. Speeds will be reduced when shaping limit or AUP has been exceeded.
^^ Cancellation of the service within the first 6 months for any reason incurs a fee of $85 and requires 1 month's notice.

| ^^^ Our AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) plans currently allow for 50GB of downloads before the speed is reduced (shaped). Blackstump Solutions reserves the right however, to shape the speed when 30GB of downloads if reached, if network quality is being impacted. It is a condition of all plans that monthly payments be made via direct charging of a valid credit card unless otherwise agreed with Blackstump. Payment via other means incurs a manual payment processing fee. |
